Matus Toth
Matus Toth stepped on a photography path early on in his life. Born in 1981, fourteen years old Matus was admitted to School of Applied Arts in his hometown Bratislava, Slovakia. Four years later he moved to Prague and graduated at FAMU's, photography department in 2005. He jokingly describes himself as Long, Thick and Sharp-sighted, which might just sum up his larger-than-life personality mixed with a precise, clean, straightforward yet playful work. Large corporate clients, banks, telecoms, fashion brands and magazines (Aupark, Blazek, CSOB, Bomton, Redken, Schwarzkopf awards, T-mobile, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Dolcevita, Marianne, to mention a few) have come to appreciate these qualities and often return to him with their new projects. His exceptionally sharp eye for detail and natural sensitivity to all things beautiful make him a sought after still life as well as beauty photographer. Matus has a long list of inspirational influences...with his fianceé currently at the top.
