Prasad Naik got drawn to photography while studying for his BFA at JJ school of Applied Arts in Mumbai, which has quickly proven to be the right course. After graduating he quickly rose to recognition in his home India and the international success wasn't long in coming. Having travelled a lot, Prasad attained a unique blend of cultural approaches in his work. He often works with Western pictorial symbols and objects but with his Indian heritage always present in the form of Eastern aesthetics. This fresh and intelligible, yet often graphic and surreal style found appreciation of such brands as Lee Jeans, Bacardi, Dove, Lenovo, Nivea, Vodafone and many more. Magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Elle and others often feature his fashion stories and covers. Prasad's love for travelling and discovering other cultures seems to have brought him even closer with his homeland on which he's now working on making a Book.
